Fantástico Sur

Nos lo pasamos muy bien haciendo la caminata de W a E, definitivamente es más fácil hacer de E a W. Comida y bebida razonables en los refugios, además de abundantes refrigerios para el box lunch. Buenas carpas, cómodas y cálidas.

El principal punto de mejora es el servicio y el itinerario. Aprendimos cosas durante la caminata que hubiera sido útil comprender antes de partir, como la posible caminata al atardecer en la Base Torres, no se proporcionó almuerzo el día 1, no hubo comunicación sobre la reprogramación del desayuno, no hubo información para reprogramar el autobús.

El itinerario tampoco incluía la caminata hacia Lookout Británico. En términos generales, la comunicación por correo electrónico del equipo de reservas de Las Torres/Fantástico Sur fue deficiente y confusa. La correspondencia que recibimos no fue personalizada y contenía información contradictoria sobre otras caminatas. Hubiéramos preferido un correo electrónico simple y claro con todos los detalles, no varios correos electrónicos separados.

Está bastante claro que no están haciendo ningún esfuerzo por los turistas a pesar de cobrar un precio elevado. Con todo, logramos disfrutar de este hermoso parque nacional.

Extremadamente caros, básicamente aprovechan ser solo uno de los 2 operadores en Torres del Paine. El otro (Vertice) es mucho más conveniente.

Los diferentes refugios tienen distintas calidades, Serón es malísimo tiene solo 1 baño y 1 ducha para mujer, no hay ni una silla para poner la ropa. En cambio, Frances es lindo, los baños hermosos pero aun así el resto de instalaciones de ese camping no son tan buenas, estrechas, sin luz y tienen pocas provisiones para comprar. En chileno no me quedé, el refugio se ve lindo. Rescato que el personal fue muy amable, especialmente Gabriel Gomez que se dió la molestia de buscarme un antiinflamatorio para poder terminar el sendero.

Attention au vol. Prestations très mauvaises pas rapport au prix payé. Repas de cantine de prison.

La atención al cliente del personal en la oficina no es amable … La verdad no me sentí bien atendiendo, la señorita me respondía de muy mal gusto.

Que atención tan Perversa, la persona q me atendió tiene cero tolerancia, la paciencia para explicar como q la deja en casa… Tómese una vacaciones con más frecuencia señora

It’s expensive but you know that from the beginning. We booked the W, communication was sometimes slow but everything went as planned. Briefing one day before the trek we received a welcome package with metallic bottle, microfiber towel and sleeping bag liner. Normally for the W package they book you the afternoon bus for the first day. I texted them some weeks in advance that we want the morning bus at 7am. So that we can do the lake Torres hike either the 1s or 2nd day if the weather was bad on one of them. First 2 nights were at central, but I could have asked Chilleno and Central instead. Eventually we had had excellent weather all 5 days and did mirador Torres the 1st day, and took rest 2nd day. Better than hike 4 days in a row.

So it’s good to ask these changes yourself because the itinerary is very standard.

The food was actually great, although we were initially worried by all the reviews. Breakfast is simple and basic but enough to eat. Lunch box was delicious l, big fresh sandwiches, nuts, apple, chocolate. Dinners were also very good, some of it it’s shared but you can ask for more. Dessert included.

Camping central’ facilities sucked, dirty and super basic, no warm water (during the hours it should have been). But the camping’s setting is so beautiful. At Frances the bathrooms were surprisingly ok, warm water also. At Paine grande also very good and nice setting. Paine Grande very good buffet dinner and breakfast.

For us a one in a lifetime experience, our first time camping so glad we booked it all as a package even if it was overpriced. Just enjoy the nature and focus on how lucky you are to even be there.

Carolina who briefed us about the w trek was nothing but cold, short, condescending and mildly abusive. I left the briefing wondering if I wanted to do the trek… after completing the trek we found a lot of her information and guidance was wrong.

Realmente disfrutamos haciendo la caminata W. Algunas notas para destacar:
+ La comunicación con el equipo de reservas fue clara y puntual. Recibimos instrucciones para asistir a la sesión informativa.
+ Gran desglose de caminatas por día.
+ El registro en los campamentos fue bueno y todo estuvo bien planeado.
+ Hermosas vistas.
+- El servicio del personal fue realmente impredecible, algunos muy agradables, otros claramente odiaban su trabajo.
- El baño de Las Torres necesita mejorar. Ni siquiera puedes colgar la ropa ni la toalla en las duchas del camping.
+ Las cenas fueron increíbles, considerando lo remota que es la Patagonia.
- Es necesario mejorar el bocadillo en la lonchera diaria. Fueron horribles. Obtenemos un trozo de pan tan grande sin apenas relleno. Todos los días era el mismo pollito. ¿El jamón y el queso podrían ser una opción a considerar?
- Ojalá nos hubieran avisado que no había almohadas en la opción de acampar, ya que hubiéramos empacado las nuestras.
- Las tiendas de campaña son pequeñas en Francés.

¡Cuidado con los robos! Servicios muy pobres no comparados con el precio pagado. Comidas en el comedor penitenciario.

This company is profiting from its monopoly over campgrounds in Torrest del Paine park. It takes all the beauty and fun out of doing a trek. Prices are sky high (average dinner 44$ per person!), at Chileno campground you get tiny table to cook your own food, the bathrooms in Chileno are in terrible state, water not hot. At Frances campground there is literally nothing and the reception guys are asking for TIPS to charge your phone! Like you have not just paid for tiny 2 people tent 130$. Ridiculous. The only well maintained campground in cuernos, where you have actual space to cook your food.
This company makes this W-Trek way leas fun than it could be. Such a shame!

Carolina, quien nos informó sobre la caminata, no fue más que fría, breve, condescendiente y levemente abusiva. Dejé la sesión informativa preguntándome si quería hacer la caminata.después de completar la caminata descubrimos que mucha de su información y orientación eran incorrectas.

Everything that had to deal with the hike and views was wonderful but we do have a few things we were NOT happy about. 1) One is that we were never sent a time to meet at the tour companies (Fantastico Sur) physical site the day before our trek in Puerto Natales, so we showed up at 6pm to be told it was at 645pm. 2) The bus situation in the morning form Puerto Natales to Torres Del Paine was an utter mess. We had NO idea which bus was ours so we asked all the bus drivers until we found the right one. We were told to arrive at the station at 630 but then also 645.3) Our route for the 4 day trek was absurdly bad and not thought out at all. Day two was 8miles and day 4 was 20 when we easily could have stayed at other campsites and would have had roughly equal mileage everyday. (Day two, stay at Frances; Day 3 go to Britanico and to Paine Grande to sleep; Day 4 go to the glacier outlook and back to Paine Grande). It was so bad that we weren't able to make it to the glacier lookout on the last day, which was extremely annoying that a garbage itinerary is what held us back when I could have booked this myself and got to complete it entirely. 4) The sandwiches for the lunches were terrible. We had one the first day and then the days after we would ask for our lunches without the sandwiches 5) It would have been nice to know before we started the hike that we had to carry our trash the entire time of the hike with no real places to throw my lunch trash out. 6) Lastly (and the biggest annoyance of them all) the boat/catamaran situation on the way home was a JOKE. If we arrived to the catamaran when you told us to, 30 minutes before the scheduled time of departure, we would not have made it. People that were on our bus actually missed that 630pm catamaran so we had to wait on the bus in the parking lot for 1.5hours while it made another trip back to pick them up and drop them off. We were told we would get home at 930pm, we didn't get home until 1130pm. This tour was a logistical nightmare which easily could have been mitigated by better, thought out planning. Its not dificult and gives us the vibe that you dont care about the experience people have, just the money you collect. Its infuriating having someone else's incompetencies detract from what should have been a wonderful 4 day trek.

I booked the self guided W trek Refugio through this company and attended the briefing. The briefing was a briefing of misinformation. She told everyone that there is no cut off time to start the hike to Las Torres but there is. She was rude and condescending. Do your own research, do not trust the information given by this company.

Just finished the O-TREK in Torres del Paine. The prices this company charges for the campground is rediculous considering how filthy the bathrooms and showers were (specifically Central), limited to no places to cook (but hello, this is Patagonia so you know it's gonna rain and be windy), the price is double or triple to the other company on the Circuit (Vertice) and the complete inflexibility of the staff.

Extremely overpriced.the regular hostel beds (beds in 6 person dorm) costs more than 100 usd per night for 1 person.their dinner costs 44 usd each plate and the amount and quality should be equivalent of 5 -10 usd. The excuse might be remote location but that does not explain why a 5 star hotel like hotel lago grey, also situated inside the park, can provide high quality fine dining for 30 usd. They just rob you outright.

Horrendous service. Incredibly rude people working here, who will try to get you out of the door as quickly as possible and tell you to book online. Do yourself a favour and don't even show up here.

I booked the Torres del Paine O Circuit (8 days / 7 nights) with them for November 2022 and came here for the day before briefing meeting. The program coordinator was nice and explained to us what we needed to know before embarking the hike. The email communication with them can be a little slow at times but we received all the information needed 3 days before the tour start date.

You don't have to come here for information. They have impeccable response on WhatsApp. To bad their campsite in TDP are really expensive for what you get.

Un empresa más que deficiente, acabamos de terminar el circuito la O y dejo mucho que desear, camping francés el lugar donde cocinar denigrante no puedo decirlo de otra forma, aunque tenga las mejores duchas eso lo deja mal muy mal, camping cuernos un poco mejor pero es una bodega un cuarto si no fuera por la estufa puff nada que decir, y chileno un asco nada para comer, no se puede cocinar, eso si Personal un agrado se portaron muy bien en todos ellos pero la empresa atroz
